Finally, 21.
This moment holds so much weight. I have been thinking of this day since I was 10 or even younger. I don’t why, but as a kid I would always think about being that young adult who is living the pent house dream. Driving a convertible through the city, drinks with friends, dinner with potential husbands and late night adventures. A very high class lifestyle for a down to earth kind of a girl. But man, times have changed. I still want the dreams I’ve dreamt for but having it won’t have the weight I want on it. I’ve learned a lot about boys, given that I am barely even 21 to judge, but what I have seen so far is lost souls. No one has there ‘shit’ together. Everyone is still trying to ‘discover themselves’. It’s a messy world and as a child I never saw that mess. Either it has always secretly been that way or times are le changin’. Either way I don’t feel 21 has the impact I would have expected for but, no doubt, I am still extremely happy for this day because of wonderful year I’ve had being 20! I’ve made so many friends this past semester! (out of my entire college experience). I joined two more clubs, Communications Associations and PRSSA. I am now a board member for both, as apart of the PR team and the PR director! In TRENDS I am the new secretary! Really excited to redesign all their logos and get tweetin! I will also be working for the Daily Sundial! So, basically I have a ton of work on my plate as a 21 year old and I could not be more excited for all these opportunities. Last semester was my first time taking 19 units, working for the Pierce College magazine and a job from hell, literally. This semester I just focused on my classes and clubs. Thanks to the clubs I have made so many friends, especially a few that I want to keep forever. I’m really happy these people are in my life. They make my days go faster with a smile on. To my old friends, not old, but old in knowing me, thanks for making my year another unforgettable one! There’s so much to say but not enough to keep anyone’s attention on this post. JKGUYZ. No one reads this. Anyways, I’m looking forward to another memorable year with a different age, as always. The next time I reflect on my birthday I’ll be a graduating college student from Cal State Northridge. Pretty excited, yes.

I am really HAPPY/PROUD to announce that I am the new PR Director for @CSUN_PRSSA! It feels like I just won PROM QUEEN.. AGAIN!!
The fashion club on campus, CSUN Trends, celebrated Earth Day by making a recyclable clothing. Chenice and I made the dress with water bottles, caps, newspapers and nutrition labels. I’d wear it.
